Event FAQ

Will you have jacket & bag check?

We will not have coat check and bag check. Large jackets and bags will not be permitted inside the venue. so please leave those at home

What's a Kegger?

You’re guess is as good as ours, but we hear its an American word for a cool party with a gathering of select Swedish craft beer where the focus is on the amazing beer and the people behind them.

What's the age limit?

You must be 20 years of age and over to enter the venue. Please make sure to bring proper identification, and don’t try and use your siblings ID, we know all the tricks kids like to play these days.

Can I bring my children and pets?

While we adore kids, and believe they would also have a nice time, we feel it’s best if you leave them and the pets at home.

Can I try all the beer options?

As our dear friend and future-fan Jack Black said in the The School of Rock, “Of course you can fancypants!” and we hope you do too, because there are some fantastic and limited edition beers for you to try.

So what's this ticket fee include?

It’s your key to the kegger. You get admission, a collectable tasting glass, your ears will be serenaded with local tunes in a small and intimate gathering featuring handpicked Stockholm brewers + some amazing foreign breweries with some food options for purchase that we hope pairs well with your brews.

Can I buy more beer tasting tokens?

You bet! There will be beer tokens available to purchase inside the venue. Please note* We will not be accepting Cash at the event

What kind of food you dudes gonna have?

Good stuff from our friends at Katarina Ölkafe, Indian Street Food & Co, Low & Slow Smokehouse, and Stikki Nikki. Vegetarian options of course are available.

Do you only have beer?

While we fully respect beer, we do have an appreciation for other libations such as water, and non alcoholic beer. You’ll likely find these available as well if you want to switch it up.

Who can I contact if I have questions about the event?

If its a question on tickets, please send a email to sales@stockholmbrewersfestival.com
If you are a member of the Press and want more information or want to write or feature the festival in a publication, please send a mail to press@stockholmbrewersfestival.com

Is there anything to do other then taste beer?

We will have local Stockholm live music, food from TBA vendors, ice cream, games. We think you’ll have a good time.

How can I apply for a Press Credential?

Please send an email with your full name, company and qualifications to press@stockholmbrewersfestival.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible

Tell me more about the venue

The event will be at one of Söder Stockholms historical buildings just south of Nytorget at Orion Teatern on Katarina Bangata.

It’s a great space for the event, as it was an old mechanical engineering warehouse built in 1929 that is now used as a theatre & playhouse.

We are looking for a few more volunteers to help out with guest check-in and registration at the event.

If you’re interested in volunteering, please email us with your 1st and 2nd shift preferences. Volunteer shifts are filled on a first come, first serve basis.

Volunteers receive a festival tee, admission to the event upon completion of their shift. 2nd session volunteers will receive admission to a future Stockholm Brewers Festival event.

Please sign up using the form
